  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 egg (beaten, for sealing)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a pan, cook ground pork until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add cabbage, carrots, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil. Cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables soften.
  3. Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Add 2 tbsp of filling in the center.
  4. Fold sides inward, then roll tightly. Seal the edge with beaten egg.
  5. Heat oil in a pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls until golden brown (2-3 minutes per side).
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
