- 1 package egg roll wrappers (12 count)
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ginger (grated)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 egg (beaten, for sealing)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pan, cook ground pork until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add cabbage, carrots, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil. Cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables soften.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Add 2 tbsp of filling in the center.
- Fold sides inward, then roll tightly. Seal the edge with beaten egg.
- Heat oil in a pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls until golden brown (2-3 minutes per side).
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, replace pork with tofu.
- Serve with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container (reheat in oven for crispiness).
