- 1.5 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 0.5 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Add softened butter to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the crushed pineapple.
- In a separate bowl, combine sour cream and milk.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients alternately with the pineapple mixture, beginning and ending with the sour cream mixture. Mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
