- 1 large head broccoli, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, red onion, raisins, sunflower seeds, and crumbled bacon.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture.
- Toss gently until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- You can blanch the broccoli for 1 minute if you prefer a softer texture, then immediately plunge it into ice water.
- For a tangier flavor, increase the apple cider vinegar by one teaspoon.
