Description

A simple recipe combining sweet waffles with melted cheese for a quick breakfast sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 small frozen waffles, toasted

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Top with one slice of cheese and one toasted waffle.
  4. Place the second waffle on top of the cheese.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
  6. Grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from skillet and cut in half.
