Easy and fun Halloween-themed stuffed crust pizza bites.
Ingredients

- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp black olives, chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped bell pepper (any color)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: Orange food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
- In a small bowl, mix mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Spread about 1 teaspoon of marinara sauce on the wider end of each dough triangle.
- Top the sauce with a small amount of the cheese mixture.
- Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the point.
- Shape each roll into a small ball.
- If desired, add a drop of orange food coloring to the beaten egg for an orange wash. Brush the tops of the pizza bites with the egg wash.
- Arrange the pizza bites on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooled slightly, use a toothpick to add small olive pieces for eyes and a mouth to create Halloween faces.
Notes
- You can use any toppings you prefer inside the pizza bites.
- Ensure the cheese is well-sealed inside the dough to prevent leakage.
- Let the pizza bites cool enough to handle before decorating.
