  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange the bread cubes in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, milk, sugar, beaten eggs, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the pumpkin mixture evenly over the bread cubes, pressing down gently to ensure all pieces are moistened.
  5. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the liquid.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the pudding is set and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
