  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken pieces in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken and stir to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
  6. Stir the slurry into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
  7. Add orange zest and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
