- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- Add beef broth, Italian dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt.
- Layer sliced bell pepper and onion on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred the beef with forks and mix well with the juices.
- Serve hot on rolls or over mashed potatoes.

- For extra tenderness, cook on low for a longer time.
