Description
A classic beef stroganoff recipe made easily in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked
Instructions
- Place beef, mushrooms, onion, and garlic in a slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth. Pour over the beef mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir in the sour cream and parsley during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can sear the beef before adding it to the slow cooker.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
- If you don’t have condensed cream of mushroom soup, you can use regular cream of mushroom soup and add a little extra beef broth.
