  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add asparagus and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  5. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the shrimp and asparagus.
  6. Toss to coat everything evenly and cook for another minute until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
