Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Optional: avocado or guacamole

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix refried beans with 1/4 cup of the sour cream. Spread this mixture evenly in the bottom of a serving dish.
  2. In another bowl, mix the remaining 3/4 cup sour cream with the taco seasoning. Spread this mixture over the refried bean layer.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the sour cream layer.
  4. Top with the shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
  5. Distribute the chopped tomatoes over the cheese layers.
  6. Scatter the chopped black olives over the tomatoes.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions.
  8. If using, add avocado or guacamole as the final layer.
