Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in grated Comté and caramelized onions.
- Add milk and egg yolk, mixing until the dough comes together.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the baking sheet.
- Flatten slightly with a fork and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
