- 1 dozen large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain grease.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
- Stir in softened cream cheese until well combined.
- Add cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper to the egg mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier casserole, use hot breakfast sausage.
