Description

A homemade coffee drink combining espresso, chocolate, caramel, and a touch of salt.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Extra caramel sauce (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Brew two shots of espresso and set aside.
  2. Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming, but do not boil.
  3. Pour the warm milk into a mug.
  4. Stir in the chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, and sea salt until dissolved.
  5. Pour the espresso shots into the milk mixture.
  6. Top with whipped cream and an extra drizzle of caramel sauce, if desired.

Notes

  • You can use strong brewed coffee instead of espresso if you do not have an espresso maker.
  • Adjust the amount of salt to your preference.
  • For a colder drink, use cold milk and skip the heating step; froth the milk if you have a frother.
