Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil, plus more for drizzling
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add warm water and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the dough, cover the bowl, and let it rest at room temperature for 2 hours, or until doubled in size.
  4. Gently stretch the dough into a 9×13 inch baking pan coated with olive oil.
  5. Cover the pan and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  7. Dimple the dough surface deeply with your fingers.
  8. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the dough.
  9. Sprinkle the minced garlic and chopped rosemary evenly over the top.
  10. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  11. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
  12. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • If you prefer a chewier crust, use bread flour instead of all-purpose flour.
