Description

Polish haluski is a simple and comforting dish made with noodles, sautéed cabbage, and crispy bacon.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 small head cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onion until soft.
  4. Add cabbage, salt, and pepper. Cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
  5. Combine noodles, bacon, and cabbage mixture. Toss well and serve.
