  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a 15×10 inch jelly roll pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs and granulated sugar until thick and pale.
  4. Stir in 1/4 cup milk and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. While the cake is baking, lay a clean dishtowel on a flat surface and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  9. Immediately after removing the cake from the oven, invert it onto the prepared dishtowel.
  10. Carefully peel off the parchment paper. Roll the cake up in the dishtowel from the short end. Let cool completely.
  11. In a medium bowl, beat together peanut butter, powdered sugar, softened butter, and 2 tablespoons milk until smooth and creamy.
  12. Unroll the cooled cake. Spread the peanut butter filling evenly over the cake.
  13. Carefully reroll the cake. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.
