- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Roll the mixture into 1 to 1 1/2 inch meatballs.
- Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
- Serve hot with your favorite sauce or pasta.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
- You can substitute ground turkey or pork for the ground beef.
- Meatballs can be frozen after baking. Cool completely, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container.
