- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 8 oz ramen noodles
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Optional: Red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Whisk until smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add flank steak and cook until browned. Remove steak and set aside.
- Pour beef broth into the pot and bring to a simmer.
- Add ramen noodles and cook according to package directions.
- Return the beef to the pot.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the noodles and beef. Stir well to coat.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Stir in green onions and red pepper flakes if using.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a richer sauce, use a combination of soy sauce and tamari.
- Adjust sweetness and spice levels to your preference.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds for extra flavor and texture.
