Description
This Olive Garden Inspired Chicken Alfredo is a creamy, comforting pasta dish made with seared chicken, rich Alfredo sauce, and fettuccine, perfect for a restaurant-style meal at home.

			- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
 - 1 tsp garlic powder
 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
 - Salt & pepper, to taste
 - 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
 - 12 oz fettuccine or tagliatelle pasta
 - 2 tbsp butter
 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
 - 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
 - 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
 - Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
 - Optional: 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper, sautéed mushrooms or spinach
 
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
 - Pat chicken dry and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Set aside to rest.
 - In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
 - Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir for 4–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
 - Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
 - Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Add pasta water if needed to thin the sauce.
 - Slice rested chicken and place on top of the sauced pasta.
 - Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve immediately.

- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor.
 - Let the chicken rest before slicing to retain juices.
 - Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
 - Customize with shrimp, mushrooms, or spinach for variety.
