Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the crushed pineapple with its juice and the sweetened condensed milk.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until just combined.
- If using, stir in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the mixture into a serving dish or individual bowls.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Garnish with maraschino cherries before serving, if desired.
