A simple and delicious no-bake dessert featuring layers of vanilla wafers, bananas, and creamy pudding.

- 2 boxes (3.4 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 4 cups cold milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (12 ounce) box vanilla wafers
- 4 to 5 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mixes and cold milk according to package directions. Stir in the vanilla extract. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
- Arrange a single layer of vanilla wafers in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer half of the sliced bananas over the wafers.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
- Repeat the layers with another layer of vanilla wafers, the remaining bananas, and the remaining pudding mixture.
- Spread the thawed whipped topping evenly over the top layer of pudding.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use ripe but firm bananas.
- You can substitute different flavors of pudding mix.
- Ensure the cake chills completely for the wafers to soften and the flavors to meld.
