Description
A light, non-alcoholic drink combining watermelon, mint, and lime flavors.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups cubed seedless watermelon
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, packed
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional)
- 1 cup cold water or club soda
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Place the watermelon cubes, lime juice, mint leaves, and sugar (if using) into a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp and mint pieces. Press down on the solids to extract all liquid.
- Stir in the cold water or club soda.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or lime juice if needed.
- Serve immediately over ice cubes. Garnish with extra mint sprigs or lime wedges.
Notes
- For a stronger mint flavor, muddle the mint leaves lightly before adding them to the blender.
- If you prefer a sweeter drink, increase the sugar amount slightly.
- Use chilled watermelon for the best results.
