- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Green food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the cocoa powder, milk, peppermint extract, and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. If using, add green food coloring a drop at a time until desired color is reached.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Using a fork, gently flatten each ball to create a medallion shape.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a richer chocolate flavor, use good quality cocoa powder.
- Adjust the amount of peppermint extract to your preference.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
