Description
A refreshing and vibrant sorbet made with sweet mango and tart passionfruit.
Ingredients

- 2 cups ripe mango chunks, frozen
- 1 cup passionfruit pulp (from about 6–8 passionfruits)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Let cool completely.
- In a blender or food processor, combine frozen mango chunks, passionfruit pulp, cooled sugar syrup, and lime juice.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a tablespoon of water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Transfer the mixture to an airtight container.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm. Stir every hour for the first 2 hours to prevent ice crystals from forming.
- Serve scoops of sorbet.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, you can churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions before freezing.
- Adjust sugar to your preference based on the sweetness of the mangoes.
