Description

A light and refreshing no-bake dessert with layers of ladyfingers and mango cream.


Ingredients

  • 200g ladyfinger biscuits
  • 500g ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 100g powdered sugar
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 100ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line a charlotte mold or a springform pan with ladyfinger biscuits.
  2. Blend half of the mango cubes with powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the mango puree into the whipped cream.
  5. Arrange a layer of the remaining mango cubes over the ladyfingers in the mold.
  6. Pour half of the mango cream mixture over the mango cubes.
  7. Add another layer of ladyfingers.
  8. Pour the remaining mango cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  10. Decorate with fresh mango slices before serving.

  • You can substitute other fruits for mango.
