- 1 lb frozen French fries
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven and bake fries according to package instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain excess fat
- Add taco seasoning to beef and stir well
- Spread cooked fries on serving platter
- Top with seasoned beef and shredded cheese
- Place under broiler for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts
- Add sour cream, green onions, tomatoes and jalapeños
- Serve immediately
Notes
- For crispier fries, bake at higher temperature
- Substitute ground turkey for lighter version
- Add guacamole for extra flavor
