Simple recipe for crispy baked cauliflower bites seasoned with lemon and pepper.

- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are lightly browned and tender.
- Remove from the oven. Immediately toss the hot cauliflower with lemon juice and lemon zest.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can toss the florets with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch before adding the oil.
- You can substitute dried herbs for fresh lemon zest if needed.
