Description
These lemon glazed chicken wings are a simple and delicious appetizer or main dish. The tangy lemon glaze perfectly complements the crispy chicken.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan, combine lemon juice, honey, and minced garlic.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the wings from the oven and brush them generously with the lemon glaze.
- Return the wings to the oven for another 5 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, you can bake them for an additional 10 minutes after glazing.
- Adjust the amount of honey in the glaze to your preferred sweetness.
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze for a bit of heat.
