- 1 (15.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
- 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, undrained
- 1 (21 ounce) can lemon pie filling
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Spread the cake mix evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour the mandarin oranges (with juice) over the cake mix.
- Spread the lemon pie filling over the mandarin oranges.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the pie filling.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans, if desired.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
- This cake is best served the day it is made.
