Ingredients

- 1 pound pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup capers, drained
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: Red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add capers and lemon juice to the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta, reserved pasta water, and parsley to the skillet. Toss to combine.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra richness, you can add a knob of butter or a splash of cream at the end.
- Adjust lemon juice and capers to your preference.
