Description
A refreshing iced tea flavored with lemon, blackberries, and fresh mint.
Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar or sweetener (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Remove the water from the heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags from the water.
- Add the blackberries and mint leaves to the hot tea. Let steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the tea mixture into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
- Stir in the lemon juice and sugar, if using, until dissolved.
- Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Serve the tea over ice cubes.
Notes
- Muddle the blackberries slightly before adding them to the hot tea for a stronger flavor.
- Adjust the amount of lemon juice to your taste preference.
- If you prefer a less strong tea, reduce the steeping time for the tea bags.
