- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2–3 jalapeños, seeded and finely diced
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in almond flour, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet.
- If desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a milder flavor, remove all seeds and membranes from the jalapeños.
- You can adjust the amount of jalapeño to your spice preference.
- These bites can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
