Instructions
- Combine pineapple juice, rice vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, and soy sauce in a saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
- Gradually whisk the cornstarch slurry into the simmering sauce.
- Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
