- 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate medium bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the peach mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- You can add a handful of chopped pecans or walnuts to the crumble topping for extra crunch.
