A quick and easy Mexican pizza recipe that satisfies your taco cravings.

- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup refried beans
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into a 12-inch pizza pan.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Spread the refried beans evenly over the crescent roll crust.
- Spoon the taco meat mixture over the refried beans.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the meat.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Top with salsa, sour cream, chopped tomatoes, and green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the taco meat.
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
- Serve with your favorite taco toppings like avocado or jalapeños.
