Simple baked sliders with ham, cheese, and a savory butter topping.

- 12 King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls or similar slider buns
- 1 pound thinly sliced deli ham
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves connected if possible.
- Place the bottom halves of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the ham evenly over the bottom rolls. Top the ham with the slices of Swiss cheese.
- Place the top halves of the rolls back onto the cheese.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dried minced onion, and poppy seeds.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the assembled sliders.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Slice the sliders apart and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute cheddar or provolone cheese for Swiss cheese.
- For extra flavor, add a dash of garlic powder to the butter mixture.
