A simple recipe for a refreshing iced latte flavored with honey and turmeric.
Ingredients

- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 shot espresso or 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine milk, turmeric, honey, ginger, and black pepper in a small saucepan.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until the honey dissolves and the spices are mixed in. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a glass to remove any undissolved spices, if desired.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the cooled honey turmeric milk mixture over the ice.
- Top with the shot of espresso or strong coffee.
- Stir gently before drinking.
Notes
- For a stronger flavor, use 1/4 teaspoon of fresh grated turmeric instead of ground.
- You can froth the milk mixture before cooling for a creamier texture.
