A quick and flavorful chicken stir-fry with a sweet and savory honey sesame sauce.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, toss chicken with 2 tablespoons soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet.
- Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and ginger powder.
- Pour sauce over vegetables and stir to coat.
- Return chicken to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through and sauce has thickened slightly.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot.
Notes
- You can use other vegetables like snap peas, snow peas, or mushrooms.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
