- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup mixed nuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (cranberries, raisins, apricots)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and dried fruit.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the honey, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and toasted.
- Let the granola cool completely on the baking sheet before breaking it into clusters.
Notes
- Store granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
- You can customize the nuts and dried fruit to your preference.
- For a crispier granola, bake for a few extra minutes, but watch carefully to prevent burning.
