A simple recipe for a sweet and spiced matcha latte using honey and cinnamon.

- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- 2 tablespoons hot water (not boiling)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Whisk the matcha powder with the hot water in a small bowl until smooth and frothy.
- Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until warm, or microwave until hot. Do not boil.
- Stir the honey into the warm milk until dissolved.
- Pour the matcha mixture into a mug.
- Pour the sweetened milk over the matcha.
- Sprinkle the ground cinnamon on top.
Notes
- For a colder drink, use cold milk and skip the heating step.
- You can froth the milk separately for a creamier texture.
