  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 4 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk in a large bowl.
  2. Mix in sugar, butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Knead into a dough.
  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough.
  5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the buttered dough.
  6. Roll dough tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking pan. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Mix cream cheese, butter, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and salt for frosting.
  10. Spread frosting over warm rolls before serving.
