- 1 cup sev (crispy chickpea flour noodles)
- 1/2 cup chopped boiled potatoes

- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

- 2 tablespoons tamarind chutney
- 2 tablespoons mint-coriander chutney
- 1 tablespoon chopped green chilies (optional)
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine puffed rice, sev, chopped potatoes, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and green chilies (if using).
- Add tamarind chutney, mint-coriander chutney, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Mix everything gently until well combined.
- Serve immediately in bowls or cones.
- Garnish with extra sev and cilantro if desired.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the bhel puri before eating.
Notes
- For a crispier bhel puri, add the puffed rice and sev just before serving.
- Adjust the chutneys and spices according to your preference.
- You can add other ingredients like boiled chickpeas or pomegranate seeds for extra flavor and texture.
