Description
A refreshing and nutritious lemonade made with fresh kale and lemon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups kale, stems removed
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Blend kale and water until smooth.
- Strain the kale mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the pulp.
- In a pitcher, combine the strained kale juice, lemon juice, and honey or maple syrup. Stir well.
- Add ice cubes to the pitcher or to individual glasses.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a thinner consistency, add more water.
- For a sweeter taste, add more honey or maple syrup.
- You can add a few mint leaves for extra flavor.
