Description

A refreshing and nutritious lemonade made with fresh kale and lemon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups kale, stems removed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Blend kale and water until smooth.
  2. Strain the kale mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the pulp.
  3. In a pitcher, combine the strained kale juice, lemon juice, and honey or maple syrup. Stir well.
  4. Add ice cubes to the pitcher or to individual glasses.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a thinner consistency, add more water.
  • For a sweeter taste, add more honey or maple syrup.
  • You can add a few mint leaves for extra flavor.
