  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups (350g) chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix well.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized dough portions onto baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
