Description
Grilled tomahawk steak seasoned with garlic and herbs.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (2 1/2 to 3 pound) tomahawk steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Pat steak dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the garlic-herb mixture all over the steak, including the bone.
- Place steak on the preheated grill.
- Grill for 10-12 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature (130-135°F for medium-rare).
- Remove steak from grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Adjust grilling time based on thickness of steak and desired doneness.
- Resting the steak allows juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender steak.
