A simple recipe for a grilled cheese sandwich made with garlic butter.
Ingredients

- 2 slices bread
- 2 slices cheese (cheddar or American recommended)
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and parsley in a small bowl.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Layer the cheese slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet and slice in half before serving.
Notes
- Use your favorite melting cheese for best results.
- You can substitute fresh minced garlic for garlic powder if you prefer a stronger garlic flavor.
