Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, softened butter, egg whites, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a taller cake, use two 9-inch round pans and reduce baking time to 25-30 minutes.
- Ensure egg whites are at room temperature for best results.
