Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2–3 tbsp milk or heavy cream
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Beat softened butter in a bowl until creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition.
- Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Pour in milk or cream, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
- Beat on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until fluffy.
Notes
- For chocolate buttercream, add 1/2 cup cocoa powder.
- Adjust milk or cream for thicker or thinner frosting.
- Store in an airtight container if not using immediately.
