Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 4 cups crushed tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning mix and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Divide the chopped lettuce among four bowls.
  4. Top the lettuce with equal portions of the cooked taco meat.
  5. Add tomatoes, cheese, and black olives to each bowl.
  6. Spoon salsa and sour cream over the toppings.
  7. Sprinkle crushed tortilla chips over the salad before serving.
