A simple recipe for a quick and satisfying taco salad bowl.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 4 cups crushed tortilla chips
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning mix and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Divide the chopped lettuce among four bowls.
- Top the lettuce with equal portions of the cooked taco meat.
- Add tomatoes, cheese, and black olives to each bowl.
- Spoon salsa and sour cream over the toppings.
- Sprinkle crushed tortilla chips over the salad before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef.
- Use your favorite type of cheese.
- Add shredded iceberg lettuce for extra crunch.
